Our class has been "commissioned" by Cetronia Elementary School to create a back-up track for a rap the school has written to promote their good citizenship campaign with the kids. The words below will be rapped live as our track is played.
I am making the creation/production of the track a competition. You can choose to work alone or with one partner. I will take the winning producer (or producers) out to breakfast at the Parkland Restaurant (you can order anything you want!). Create a great groove, use any of the tools/features you've learned (loops, MIDI recording, audio recording, DSP effects, SFX, etc.), and be sure to include a few surprises to make listeners smile. A committee from Cetronia School will judge the tracks and select the winner.
